What Is The Difference Between Each BackMax?
Our BackMax bed wedge system is offered in two different sizes, 20” or 28” widths. Both are exactly the same aside from the width of the cushions. However, even petite framed customers prefer the larger size BackMax as there is more room for their arms to rest comfortably on the side of their bodies versus the standard (20”) width. The Deluxe 28 model, now comes with a plush, lightweight, white fleece removable cover.

BackMax Foam Body Wedge System
I received my BackMax Foam Body Wedge two weeks ago and have not slept so well in years. Finally, no more morning back ache or waking up at 3:00 AM in pain. No more sleeping on the sofa or in a recliner. I am sure I am getting more and deeper sleep. I can not believe the difference it had made.

Now I Look Forward To Bedtime!
I have problems with arthritis, both in the sciatic nerves and also in my neck. For nearly 20 years I have slept in reclining chairs that I could adjust into a fairly zero gravity position, but it has been harder to find chairs with both lumbar support and adjustability. When after almost 3 years one of the motor units unexpectedly broke on the power chair I got, which I had thought was the final solution because it was so adjustable, and I was left with no way to sleep except propping a bunch of pillows on the bed and wrestling with them as they shifted all night, I said to myself that there had to be a better way than what I had been doing. When I went looking online the next day I was thrilled to find Contour Living and their Back Max support system of wedge cushions. I was even happier when after ordering it with free shipping that it was sent right out and here in a couple of days! I was SO tired of the nightly pillow fight. The first night I slept all night until morning without waking up at all! WOW! It did take 3 or 4 nights for my back to readjust to spending the night in a straighter position, so that when I got up in the morning there wasn't some stiffness, and I also found the best placement for the leg and back wedge for my short body. Now it is perfect and I couldn't be happier! I sleep very well and get up in the morning feeling great!

BackMax 20" body wedge cushion
There is NO comparison with this updated and improved version compared to the previous tan version. The support and comfort FAR surpasses its predecessor. Highly recommended for anyone with lower back issues. Apparently the 28" size is still on the old design. Get the 20"!
